In an attempt to maintin the utmost historical accuracy, it would be cool if bodies didnt dissapear over time.
Not just for the visual effect, but there we’re cases when MG nests would have so many bodies pile up that they would have to move bodies out of their firing path so they could still see and shoot enemies from their position
The game already has a mechanic where you (on playstation) hold down L3 to push boats grounded on the shore, the same mechanic could be applied to moving dead bodies out of the way of MG nests
dead bodies could also be used for cover
Well if you want pure lag, then go ahead

Is for avoid technical issue, if body don’t disappear performance would drop drastically on every platform used to play

does performance drop when players spam sandbags? same concept right?
A dead body is no longer an AI on the field, it’s just another object like any engineer built structure
20 sandbag who are going be destroyed soon are different from 50-70 dead bodies every minute who don’t despawn
bodies that take enough damage could blow up just like sandbags
maps have hundreds of destructible objects
Well never seen player spam sandbags and cause issue due to limit of building it. But player and AI die all the time which is why its going to lag more harder than sandbag spam with limit.
True but there’s literally hundreds of map-generated destructible objects in a match, I don’t know the technical side of things but I cant imagine it would put that much stress on the system
only few are destructable. Most them cant even break like log houses in birch grove map. Trains and destroyed tanks in communist street dont even move when pushed
dont forget the doors, windows, trees, and that the ground can be cratered out
They dissappear easily like its a ghost
True. my point was that theyre also destructible objects (maybe not the ground idk if youd describe that as an object)
So you agree to me that corpses should disappear fast like destructive objects remains that becomes a ghost?
Youre not getting the point, those objects dont disappear unless theyre destroyed right?
Same with the bodies, they stay there until they get destroyed
So whats the difference between a body and window/door/tree
