So this discussion has gone so far as to say “grey” is great camo - despite it being as far away from being camo imaginable.
Great.

Well, yeah. In enlisted grey is a great camo in ruins, bunkers, low light environments… which describes 50%+ of the cap points and general indoor spaces.
But yes, I know - you’ll happily keep the spotting advantages which are way more significant than any lame ass damage reduction since this is just another obsessive germany suffers thread.
That’s fine. But until then we don’t need to do this completely hypocritical song and dance about how “uniforms should be cosmetic only and not affect core gameplay” while ignoring the fact that spotting and visibility, in combination with the lighting / contrast / colour selections in the game are a massive aspect of the core gameplay.
Highly disagree. So you’re saying if I were to wear a desert uniform and not move, people would not see me? Tanks are a big example.
You can at any time switch your uniform if you feel like you are in massive disadvantage due to blue cap.
You can also switch lightning / contrast to higher to assist you with your dark corners issues.
But regardless what I do as GE switch the uniform or lightning effects it wont magically make me survive extra bullets.
Exactly champ, exactly
The only single camo that actually works in the game is the black T34 - because it looks like a destroyed vehicle. But even that will only fool you once before looking at destroyed vehicles with greater care.
A white sniper in this game laying in snow is still super easy to spot, the lighting in this game makes spotting soldiers easy, camo is purely cosmetic in this game, unless you are colour blind or something.
