Bir Hakeim battle - 1942

Are you German? If not, please don’t try to be a smartass when you have no clue what you are talking about.

His grandparents could be German, give him a break

Are you German? No.
Stop trying to speak for other nations, please.

Are YOU german? Last I checked you were a fishman

Why does it matter if Im a german? Does it validate an argument if I come from a specific location? The only one whos trying to act like a smartass is you, and this entire thread is you getting dunked on from every direction.

I have had the ability to ask this question to a lot of people, ranging from German coworkers to German friends to distant German family to some German ex-girlfriends

Just like the battle of Bir Hakeim!
And we’re still on topic :muscle:

People claimed Germans disliked the battle of Berlin. So obviously you have to know something about the people who actually live in there to comment on it. I actually get to ask said people first hand. You do not.

“me talkie with people from country i talk about me smart”
Aha.

“They Disliked the battle of berlin” Thats probably a vast understatement if you had to live in that hellhole of a battle

Just an FYI, knowing people doesnt make you any more enlightened about a topic. Theres more behind knowing people to know about something. Stop trying to act so over everyone else.

Last I checked nobody that would be playing Enlisted has lived through that battle.

Yeah bro my senile great grandfather plays enlisted how could you tell?

The subject shifts hard here. The russians wasn’t seen as a friend but as a signal of the end of that war, which took millions of lives. I would love to find my book where a german girl was interviewed “it is better to have a Russian above you than a bomber”
You didn’t know that war, neither did anyone here. We are not here to judge anyone. Every countries has a dark history in there. This hell was far beyond our understanding. We are here to help devs making a good game. Stop making everything about who was the bad guy and the good guy, we have historians for that.

I never said we had to consider the thoughts of the people that lived through the battle itself. Their thoughts do not matter towards a modern day game. The modern day people who play this game matter.

No lol. Y’all just can’t read. I never said that the people of Berlin in 1945 viewed it as liberation. Looking back at the battle in modern times, however, they do see it as liberation from the Nazi regime.

And sure, that’s the victors rewriting history. So what?

To be frank the opinions of modern day Germans are irrelevant as they’ve been fed shit by the Americans for 75 years now.

Nice Try sir

“I have German friends and that makes me an expert on this topic”
What did you mean by this?
That’s like saying you’re not racist because you have ONE nonwhite friend.
