A totally tactical equipment won’t change or do nothing, it’ll only allow players to have a better view at longer distances, definitively essential for snipers, engineers and maybe tanks
in historical aspect, it doesn’t make sense every soldiers have it. Its more officer-ish stuff rather than troops.

You’re right but tye jumbo being present at D-day is a thing so this game doesn’t hold historical fidelity
So that doesn’t matter.
it’s another story. Yes I personally don’t like the presence of jumbo in Normandy, but it can’t be an argument that everything can be hors reality.

I was wondering why certain squads like Artillery didn’t have binocs.
I’d also like to see Panzer Commander have binoculars. It’s historical and it’s common in most legit WWII tank sims.
