I see alot of sugestions of binoculars to the game. and it will be quite usefull for sniper, radio man, tankers. and so on.
i thick. make a gadgets slot in the invetory will be interesting. maybe climbing ropes can be added next in a gaget invetory slot. but that is just a expeculation. a binocular will be a very simple yet very usefull feature in the game.

maybe on old tank sights, currently i see no reason for them to be implemented :S
game pace is too fast and almost no team play.
there is no comunication or the game design doesnt force me to rely on the team to proper atack or defend a point… most times i will play first for XP, then for the objective. either way its working without a team comunicating, spoting or sniping to justify a binocular usage
this to say… the less you camp and do such novel stuff the better the game will reward in the end, kill, defend the point , atack it, repeat. so… do we really need binoculars? maybe and only in lone fighters.
but still. yes add them, why not! more options, more people happy.
I like the idea, but not for snipers or tankers. Snipers have a scope that does not give off glint. Not to mention you would have to give up your backup slot to use them. Vehicle operators in general do not need buffs of any kind right now, and I’d say that will be the case for a long
The other infantry squads with binoculars could be pretty damn cool though.
well you brought up a good point when you say theres “almost no team play” and the reason why is because there’s no real teamwork based objectives, like on conquest it would be great if there was secondary capture objectives inbetween the main objectives that equal half a main point, there would be more of a push/pull dynamic to the game then.
I can ensure you that the binoculars are very useful at spotting enemy at longer range, specially spotting those sniper who just lay on the grass, which is super diffcult to spot at long to medium range since their uniform colour are literally grass colour
