Binoculars for Tank Commander

Makes sense historically and it’s common for the commander to have binoculars in most legit WWII tank sims.

The binocs don’t have to be powerful and the lenses could even be scratched up. Just something.

The binocs could be pulled up after popping the hatch or pulled up for those commanders that can only use the view slits(like the T-50 on Moscow).

Thanks! Loving this game!

Apparently I’m not allowed to edit my post?

Anyway the commander should also be able to pull up the binocs if they exit the tank. Tank commanders firing WWII would often exit their tank and scout ahead on foot while utilizing their binoculars.

Lol it’s a an interesting suggestion, though if you are any good apparently, you are already probably hated by every single infantry spammer, ‘team player’ and every other “elite player” in this game, so the last thing they will want you to do is get binoculars

That said, with how fast paced the game is, it’s probably unnecessary. I always thought that even the portrayal of the Commander with the open hatch was silly - his arms should have been outside the turret as he looks goofy with hands tucked in.

As it is, the moment you spawn however, you’ve got so much action (on some maps) that sitting with binoculars outside your tank is always a liability.
