Bigger maps. Longer Matches

I know it has been said before but PLEASE make the maps bigger, add more vehicle spawns and more tickets. Matches need to be longer and larger in scale to utilize all the game mechanics properly and provide the desired atmosphere.

Some examples of what I perceive as under-utilized mechanics due to the small map size/short match length:

  • Constructions
  • Trenches
  • Planes
  • Mines
  • Transport Vehicles
  • Mortars
  • Heavy Tanks

If you dont have the attention span for a 30-40min match then you need to lay off tik-tok.

as long as i can get amazing amount of xp by doing this sure i would love for it to be a thing

Hypothetically the xp would be the same except youd spend less time in queue.

i mean if we talk big map like what tommy make we could technically get double the xp we usually get but of course that also mean more player too

Im factoring in time. 2x as long and 2x xp is the same xp. I imagine youd get more because the battle would have time to heat up with a proper front line.

20 mins…half hour matches are fine by me :+1:

Nah the problem is that the matches are unbalanced most of the time.
You either win at the first capture point or manage to rush straight to victory.

These intense close call battles are extremly rare.
Play as the germans on the berlin campaign for example, you get so used to winning that it gets boring.

I sugget they work on the reinforcment rate ypu get after capturing a point. If you only have 300/1000 after the first capture point, they should givd you more than 200. On the other side if you have 900/1000 after the first point you shouldnt get reinfprcements at all.

I’d love to do more trench digging

Too bad the match ended in 15 minutes so I had to spend the time rushing point and stacking bodies just to get a bit of score before it ended

Yeah thats what I thought. Most of the time you dont get to use your shovel because points are overrun most of the time or you stay at the same point so easy that you dont need to do a lot fortification

the main issue is how fast matches can play with the tiny maps and insane movement speeds

fucking rip, tik-tok is the worse, i have infact been alot more happyier since i deleted facebook

having bots consume reinforcements
kills most of my matches in tunisia allies game.

not only they are the RUIN of the game experience
they also actively makes you lose the match

I would be fine in over 30 min matches most of the time if I wasn’t constantly sweating, worrying about losing the objective when I turn around for a second or to make sure rally points are always up considering this game doesn’t have much breathing space with the lack of downtimes after engagements.

This is due to a lack of being able to actually fortify a position.
With larger maps, better game mechanics to allow defenders a chance to fortify, more tickets for attackers, and preferably a rework of engineer fortifications, the game would play out MUCH differently.

Right now its a run-and-gun deathmatch essentially. If fortifications become more prevalent, then strategic gameplay does too.

Yeah thats my reasoning too

Seriously…like it just isnt fun. Especially since trenches give 0xp at least building gives you a consolary bit of xp

It would be cool to have like a set up period before the actual fighting, that would probably be super hard to implement but it’d be cool to properly reinforce positions.

Right? Give me time to set up my HMG and AT Gun so I’m not scrambling the first 30 seconds to try to get to a good position before my Engie is shot

No reason for it to be hard to implement. Same as letting defenders know where the next fall-back position is, just needs a timer added before grey-zone changes for attacking team (to simulate reinforcements arriving, taking a breather etc.) Maybe 1 minute? 2?

While defenders have a chance to fortify the position to simulate a true 2nd and tertiary lines of defense.
