It would be cool if our maps were bigger and that we had more players in a single battle. Maybe 50 or 60 plus the AI squads, with a massive map which is either the entire collective map with many objectives or even just half the whole map with objectives spread out.
It could be similar to WoT’s “Frontline” mode, where they did the same thing suggested here. Bigger teams, and a bigger map (divided into sections in WoT’s case, maybe it could be in Enlisted).
Whenever an objective is capped the spawns for that objective ONLY get pushed back, not the other ones. This can make for more versatile flanking/defense gameplay.
i love the idea of large maps and more team members since it will actually mimic the battles that did take place during the time
I’d be down for bigger teams but the maps are already big enough as they are tbh. What we need is and invasion mode with many paths at once and 40+ players in a game in Squads mode
what I wonder with this idea is current weapons balance is set to close-mid range combat, so the adjustment that ensure minimal performance of all kind of firearms regardless the combat range should be preceded.
like, smg is really bad at long range, you can’t pressure enemy with that
On the other hand, bolt action rifle is too efficient at long range, because of super zoom, unrealistic fast moving, aiming and reloading time.
I think the gap of each kind of weapons must be narrowed first

There would probably be diffrent spawn points, so you could chose where you would go to best benefit your gear
Also adding fog would be smart, to restrict across the map sniping

I would love bigger maps. You can already tell there is room for it as all the current maps take up smaller chunks of one bigger one.
Fog would probably be the only realistic way to make the open areas less awful, becuse theres a sniper with unlimited range in every bush
Diffrent spawns? Simple-rally points, spawn could also move as you capture diffrent objectives so you dont have to run literal kilomters to get to the battle

And nerf that ridiculous super zoom of all kind of weapons
This way is much more realistic than ruining all opened map with fog
Depending on the range/implementation fog wouldnt even feel opressive/problematic- maybe something like blurring/ white hue at above 150 m
Tunisia could also have the wierd visual shifting because od temperature(dont know what its called)
Combined with enough other cover- bushes, trees, terrain, structures… it would both feel realistic and fair
If you look carefully, you can see different maps from the top view in moscow invasion mode, in the village map you can see the giant white church fürther away. It would be great if these maps would get combined in a bigger “operation” mode.

Problem is every player has super zoom and this force users to snipe with bolt action rifles.
Snipe is too easy now.
reduce the dispersion first otherwise everybody would use snipers
regular bolt actions would easily be accurate enough
many smgs can also be quite effective up to mid range
LMGs could also take advatage of their better range
as long as they implement proper fog/other stuff to limit combat ranges it could be fun
lol then you go with smg I would go with snipers in maps like this
not saying smgs can counter snipers
im saying they they arent useless at range
and again- as long as the maps have adequate cover snipers wont be complete cancer
And it will make different vehicles more useful.
Light tanks will be excellent tank killers here, being able to hide easily due to small size, and run away fast using their speed.
Motorcycles will be very useful
APCs would be very useful
And makes these games not end in 30minutes, add reinforcements to both sides. So for e.x each team has 30 tanks 20 planes, and 2000 infantry. So if i chose to be a tank hunter, we can potentially make the team run out of tanks for the game and have an advantage.
These large scale games should last more than an hour
exactly and TDs will also be extremely good because of their low profile
I don’t know how much Enlisted is connected to War Thunder (comming from there, I hate the small maps)…
but I think big maps are the best always so tanks can have their space
and not just two roads ridded with trash and obstacles.
For many casual players they might prefer arcadey small maps
where you join / respawn / click the mouse a few times and it’s over (/and fun).
I like the aspect to flank (or be flanked) in the game. Not just one funnel where all the action is.
More versatility with versatile ways to conquer or defend.
It’s more immersive. Equals more fun to me.
