I think this is the only way to slow down the pace and allow people to do more tactical moves. In game there are many features that can be work with slow pace such as shovel, squad system etc, but due to fast pace of the game the best tactic in most of the time is just rush to objective brainlessly and run&gun. We already complain about how small the gray zone is, so I think it is perfect time to implement bigger map with bigger objective. Plus, bigger map will more favour bolt-actions.

Build yourself a rally if you don’t want to walk.

300m lenght of playable area is a walking sim?
If we make it bigger it will be what? Maybe 500m. And rallies distance will remain the same so what’s the problem.

Bigger maps, yes. But also… MOAR players per maps! Make that 20 vs 20 for a fun time (and allow ppl waiting in queue to find human populated matches)
People are lazy and if they don’t have to do sth, they won’t.
In laziness scale building a rally is more lazy than walking on a big map.
So imo they don’t build, but they will or they will suffer rightfully.
eh i am not that optimistic. Most times nobody builds a focking rally point other than myself. They prefer loosing games isntead of building a rally

The problem is that that 20 vs 20 will end up being 4 players and 16 bots. I mean, even right now it’s hard to find a match with more than 60% players, and even that’s a stretch if you play in a less populated time and campaign.
The alternative to this is waiting for 10 minutes to get a single battle. And I’m not sure about that.
That’s not something the game can really fix. That simply seems to happen due to there not being anyone to play the game with.

As an option. Many are willing to wait a lil more in queue to have more human players in their match.
DF also (supposedly) put in a 30 grace period at the beginning of the match only to allow more players to connect. They could add an even longer time. Matches woukd be great!
Some bigger maps would be great. Instead of a squad system it could be a platoon system, multiple player-led squads of bots like we have now.
APCs, trucks, jeeps and (already ingame) motorcycle squads will come eventualy.
Bigger maps would be a good start to reduce spawn camping, grey zone camping and issues with air-to-ground rockets.
Larger, more unique capture points would especially be nice to see.
As long as it’s optional it would be good.
Though rather than this, what I’d like to see is a sort of matchmaking system, which would at least try to have a similar amount of equally (or close to) leveled players on each side. So that I don’t up having 4 human teamates, only 1 of which is above level 15, while the enemy gets 7 players, 4 of which are max level.
