Tried the 37mm cannon after the recent update, the resource claims that now it fires only APCR but i don’t know if its damage is so bad that it doesn’t appear in the pen indicator, or its belt is still bugged. Anyone had any luck with it? Also, it seems the C-6 is still using mixed belts.

Trying to kill something useing the 37 mm on the G2 in the training ground seams very pointless as it seams to struggle to pen a lot somehowand if it does only turns componets yellow.
Not sure if that is just training range jank or me just beeing bad at setting up the proper angles ( even with that 100mm pen?).
But I also never really got the feeling that it was doing anything in a real match but there it is hard to tell because the 30mm just boat out any feedback you would be from the x-ray.
Edit: After some more test flights it seams that the 37mm cant even pen the side of a t 34 when suicide diving it shoting only the 37mm. So not sure if it has terrible angle performance or drop off but the only times I actually managed to destroy BR 1 or 2 tanks it was basicly point blank.

New tanks are not in practice range yet either.

Chi ri 2 exists but the t26 is only there if you go in a japan but not if you are german is seams.
I have just tried the G-2 37mm for a while in practice and was able to destroy several tanks.
Most success of course with low BR tanks.
One or two of them blew up with one hit (BT-7?).
A T34-85 died quick from engine fire.
Plenty of damage on tracks and engines and transmissions, etc.
Sounds nice maybe but it was not easy at all, I spend quite some time doing not much damage.
Most of the kills took me many passes and reloads of ammo.
In battle, I would not be efficient like this.
With more practice and better aiming than myself more should be possible.
At least, it seems that the 37mm now works better than it did before, when it did no damage.
Edit: I tried again, the line of 4 dead tanks on the right are T-26, T-60, T-70, BT-7, all low BR, were not so difficult.
To me it still feels like its pure HE or outright bugged
Should go through engine deck of a Sherman like hot knife through butter but it didn’t seem to do much even from 90 degree dive lol
Those will die to the 30mm I’m pretty sure
20mm 151s melt them like they are made out of paper
Yeah but before, these mini tanks wouldnt be damaged by the 37mm, now they are.
I’m just hoping there actually was improvement coz I like using the G-2.
