The BF 109 E7U2s 20mm cannon tunes out of ammunition very quickly, and it has only the 7.7 mm machine guns to fight planes with, which is inadequate considering it is fighting P38s and spitfires, both of which have tons of amunition on their high caliber Mgs. This is similar to what happened to the P40 in Stalingrad, you could only kill and enemy or to or get 2/5 of a momber squadron because your amunition depletes so fast.DF please give this plane (and other ones if they face this problem) more amunition for their cannons

And run for ammo if you need to

The early E series had only 120 round of 20mm ammo, which is still more than what F series carried.
I actually prefer flying the E7/U2 despite the cannons having far slower velocity than F series, E7 is still fast enough to sneak up behind enemy aircraft from which point on its easy prey.
Alternatively you can use the IAR81 actually, that has more 20mm ammo and better bombs.

I thought you were talking about A6M2. BF109 use 7.92 MG, only British and Japan use 7.7.
120 round 20mm, Same issue.
But it’s cannon is worse.
And it’s BR2, lol.
Accurate to real life, not much can be done here.
