The Beutepanzer 7,5cm Pak 97/98(f) auf Pz. 740 (r) is not well known german conversion of many captured soviet T-26. A French gun 7,5cm PaK 97/98 was installed on modified T-26 chassis. The turrets of these tanks were removed and replaced by a 75mm captured french antitank gun with the shields. The result was ah hybrid german/russian/french. Lateral shields (or panels) were added to the superstructure to protect the crew. Ten T-26 russian tanks were altered and sent to East Front with 3 Kp. Pz.Jg.Abt. 563 during October 1943. However these proto-waffentrager were soon replaced by Marder III. This tank could be introduced in world of Tanks as premium tank on tier 3/4, with good mobility, RoF and Camo, but lack of armor and speed.
An open toped td with only a forward gun-shield br1. Armed with a
75mm but an old french gun and the crew would be vulnerable to infantry and mg fire. give us a tank killing gun that can at least kill br2 tank and in rare cases 3.

A great vehicle for br1 fast with light armor and a strong enough gun to fight br1 and br2 tanks. better ground clearance then many tanks allowing you to avoid getting stuck.
