i was playing this standalone mod for bf2 called forgotten hope and i noticed that some of the uniforms look nice and we could maybe have them in the game?since its gonna get released on steam it could get some overhaul with cosmetics,silver etc…
Short sleeves for germany would be nice

the thing is…
we don’t lack uniforms.
we lack the options to actually select them / buy them.
and we lack options with actual pouches even on the ones we got.

Forgotten Hope 2 is the gold standard of WW2 games. Sad that Enlisted devs don’t recognize greatness when they see it

true.
dunno why those had to be much brighter than they were:
( first two look very similar, but are actually different. one is more olive based on the RAL 6003 )
last one is gray green as often coats were.
but maybe it’s just me.
which… it didn’t took me a whole lot. just find the right combination of colors and not even having to apply or get textures from elsewhere.
( actually. it took me some time. as i had to use the medic coat, and remove the armband. since, for some reason, it’s the only coat that allows you to change it’s color without having to replace the texture unlike every other coat )

The allies from the battle of the bulge campaign have the perfect uniforms and not too bright and they blend in with the environment.
it’s kinda weird because they didn’t had those jackets.
or rather, not of that color.
the green coat should have been brown…
and the gray stuff, dunno where those were taken from.

Overall it’s a good color and it blends in with most environments and all it’s missing is just a face mask and then it’s perfect.
To match Normandy neon grass in brightness.
It makes complete sense that we wouldn’t want to have a gloomy atmosphere in a WW2 themed game.
