I tried bigote’s gunsound mod and sergei’s Soviet soldier voicemod last night. It was great.
I was able to play with tension as the soldiers voices that were hilarious became serious.
Also the gunshot mod gave me the impression that my guns were better, even though it only changed the sound. It’s strange because the status should not have changed.
In fact, my M1 carbine and Thompson submachine gun felt easier to use than usual.
Perhaps the fact that I can now hear the sound clearly has an effect on the handling of the gun.
Anyway, these two are my favorites. I was going to take a break from the game for a while this month, but the mod kept me playing all night.
It was a good mod.
