I’m torn between Fw 190 A-8 and Bf-109 F4/trop.
I mean as a dedicated fighter?
F4 easily, especially in this game where turn rate is king.
However as a multirole the A-8 can edge ahead with its rockets, if the F4 had its 4x50kg bomb drop it would win again.

As has been mentioned, 109’s are better fighters than the 190’s due manouverability.
But the 190-A8 has monstrous firepower with 4 x 20mm with large ammo load, plus 2 x 21cm rockets, and being versatile is more important in Enlisted than manoeuvrability IMO

Depends what you want it for. dogfighting, CAS or multi role
Generally better off With BR I, II fighters (109 E7/F1/F2, IARC-81, Re 2001 CN)
I am enjoying the FW 190 A-8 alot more at BR 3 against the common garden variety pilots (they arent there to fight you…eyes only for bombing)

I would just stick with Iar 81c and ju 87 d5. After they put bf 110 g2 in br 4 there is really nothing worth using in br 3 axis planes

All Fws are still broken.
F4 is useless without suspended armament.
So I always bring Bf 109 F-1 or F-2 to BR 3 or IAR-81C.

Been using Fw 190 A-8 for a while, its great in taking mass amounts of infantry with its great rate of fire, those two rockets are enough to destroy a tank as well

FW-190 has amazing fire power but terrible turn rate so its more of an interceptor than an actual fighter.
Depending on what you want to do, just shoot down bombers, CAS or actually keep air supperiority, for first two FW-190 A-8, but for keeping the sky clear and blue, use the bf-109 f-4.
Considering that some of the game’s mechanics are half-baked and that we’re supposed to consider this a PvP game when it isn’t, I would say it does matter.

At this point it’s somewhat normal for everything to be somewhat screwed up for the Germans or the Japanese or the fact that we can’t reliably use bipods when we can’t even aim MG properly.
The question is whats the better plane for axis BR3.

I’m not a War Thunder expert, so I can’t quote the names of the planes exactly, but for some reason, I know that things are just off.
and when it comes to this one it’s more talking about whatever arbitrary nonsense they come up with and moving things to where they shouldn’t belong and making exceptions for other things and if I were to go into more detail moderators might just hide it again.
