Good mix of new players and tryhards on both sides, not too much shittery.
When I play Berlin it’s usually 2 full Marshall teams trying to out sweat eachother. Which is fine, it’s a lot better than the days when Berlin axis was empty.
I believe the update that prevnts attackers from sweeping with one dude alone on the point definitely is the major reason axis have a chance now.
berlins pretty easy as a axis now tbh. yesterday i had a match where a friend and i used level 0 default squads with no upgrades/just bolts in ministry garden and we topped our team against a 4 stack on allies with avts/ppsh. they cleared us out multiple times and the cap time was so long ( despite them having like 10 dudes atleast in there alone) we always made it back in before they made real progress. didnt even get first cap before running out of lives despite clearing us alot hahha… somethings wrong the allied cap times
Being a Soviet player in Berlin really depends on your teammates where you need competent players that build rally points and play the objective especially being attackers most of the time.
For a low level, you did great there.
Combined arms for sure. Mistakes I made was trying to rally the first point on some maps. Shiv taught me to Push push first and clear them off fast before Axis gets a chance to organize a defense. Usually now we take the first point on the initial wave. Afterwards so long as we keep momentum its a traditional slog fest.
I was in Berlin for about 60 matches before flipping campaigns and it was good fun. Very balanced in terms of players and skill per side.
It depends on the map where some maps allow to build a rally point first before storming the first cap but there are others that need a hard quick push or its up to the tanks to take care of any enemy tanks or large groups of infantry at the cap.
