T-34/85 vs Panther F… WTF?
And ME410… 2x500kg bombs…
Also why German still has so many airplane supports… Their airforce should be nearly zero.
And invasion is much more difficult than moscow’s invasions. 1000 HR is definitely too low. IRL, Soviet should get nearly +∞ in any kinds of resources.
Also, very obvious, German side human players are again more than Soviet side human players. That cause more unbalance…
In 2020 May’s CAT… It’s very unbalanced for soviet to attack. Now, still very hard not to lose.
Not that there are not balancing issues, but the red army lost almost 100k dead during the battle of Berlin, it wasn’t a cake walk. And that’s just those killed almost another 200k were wounded, and they lost 2k tanks and 1k aircraft.
Well, if single disabled Tiger II can destroy 120 tanks without able to move it tells something about Soviet tactics on berlin! Eventually crew destroyed tank due could not salvage any more 88mm shells.
“[…] the French SS and one-hundred Hitler Youth attached to their group destroyed 14 Soviet tanks with panzerfausts; one machine gun position by the Halensee bridge managed to hold up any Soviet advance in that area for 48 hours.”
That’s the best result of the german defence in berlin I’ve heard.
I have never heard of your story, could you send some more details?
I think most historical gamers in general are. Pretty much every game that is (War Thunder, World of Warships, Enlisted to name a few) the average player is absolute trash at the game. To give you an idea, I introduced my girlfriend to World of Warships a year or so ago. She had never played a multiplayer game before, with most of her gaming experience being in either The Sims on PC or Dragon Age on a console. After playing 30 matches with me, she had an external stat site rating of being somewhere around the 15th percentile. And she still struggled with ship controls and especially aim due to a lack of experience. But she was still better than 15% of the regular players
Writing that the average historical gamer is below average in game skill is an opinion. But it holds up pretty well from my experience. I’m simply comparing playerbase skill and stating theyre both low level on average. I don’t see what it being a ‘‘boat simulator" has to do with the statement.
And soviets are supposed to be a “good guys?” Come on, try to actually do your research from something else than WW2/ eastern propaganda because that statement is insulting to every single one of the soviet victims. WW2 was everything but battle between “good and bad” especially when it comes clash between nazi germany vs soviet union. Also, I do not believe that people are sympatizing with nazi germany, its probably more about glorified german engineering.
(In case anyone wants to call me nazi sympatizer,… I hate nazism, but I also hate soviets equally. Both were terrible totalitarian regimes, there is no way around it, so stop politicizing the game.)
Literally the only reason why allies were ovelooking soviet crimes was that they needed them.
