When using the jagdpanzer or pv/70A premium, the tank sights go absolutely crazy on Berlin the aiming reticle jumps and stick on troops and rubble, when there is a tank right in front of you, especially on the map (…strasse?).
However the su85 on Berlin and it’s nowhere near the same, the tank T sight stays where you aim it pretty much.
I am not a noob, I know about mg and tank gun alignment, the issue is magnetic junk wreckage which makes the axis TDs quite difficult to use.
Luckily panzer /70 is very hard for them to pen, but I usually end up aiming using commander view so the sights stay where you aim.
Also, the mgs on both axis TDs are useful, but seeing the same circle for main gun and Mg gets confusing, especially when you have limited range to move guns! Could one get a different shape or colour please (on PS5 here)

Try playing on PC. I never have issues actually aiming.
Not sure how that helps, I’m on console and the cross hair suddenly jumps to the bottom right or left, when there is a tank literally right in front of me… it is very annoying.

it doesnt help. Console aim assist is what’s throwing you off
its because the sight is on the top of the hull to the left and the gun is down to the center/right.
the reticle “T” is the gun position over the actual sight.
to avoid it bouncing, have no debree/object in front of the gun.
the sight picture can be clear on your reticle, but you must have clearence infront of the gun to actually avoid the sight bouncing to a nearby debree and not where you want to aim at.
once you know how to place your tank to avoid this issue, it will work fine.
I think the issue is still around object modelling where the object box is larger that the shape therein, and it would appear that there is a limitation on the game engine discerning between the two.
Whilst its good to have an artificial reference to a barrel obstruction the fact that it pseudo traverses or elevates the gun is somewhat frustrating.
Perhaps they should just have a different color for an LOS obstruction and uncouple the gun from any auto correct.

That’s a great suggestion, I know the LOS thing, but I could see my barrel pointing at the tank and clear of any obstructions at that height / angle, but there was some rubble to the right and my aiming reticle T (upside down) was locked on that, despite my barrel looking clear?
