Hello I’m back. I would like to report a balance issue that’s been happening in Berlin lately.
As some of you might know I’m an allies main and I am playing Berlin to unlock all end-game soviet guns before major update.
The situation in Berlin is questionable to say the least. The game starts everything is normal, as soon as axis start loosing they spawn a tiger tank and completely ruin our chances
Tiger tank is very hard to kill in enlisted. It’s damage model is bugged and it can sometimes survive explosion Pack thrown on its roof, multiple Panzerfaust shots, 85mm gun shots that penetrate the tank and do no damage…etc.
Basically Tiger 2 is easier to take out than tiger 1
I was playing soviets Berlin for the past week and sadly most my battles were a loss just because of this tank even if my team is better and more skilled we loose because unlike the German side, allies don’t have anything better than t-34-85 in Berlin. I mean IS tank is much less versatile
Also to note that most of the time Berlin axis players never leave the gray zone making their tank even more immortal. Please fix the damage model of this tank. It makes a whole campaign unplayable. USSR players scream in chat every time they win because a victory for the Soviets is so rare right now it feels like finding a diamond when you win with them, victory just doesn’t happen that often
Berlin is heavily favoured towards Allied, if soviets capture one point you literally gains hundreds back. people choose more to play Axis atm, its a playerbase issue. and tank wise all the Soviet tanks is better, they are almost all immune to explosive packs especially t-34s
and tiger 2 get one shot by panzerfaust all the time.
i also equip all my soldiers with body armor, and i did noticed noticeable effect where my soldiers are harder to kill, even if it helps a little
Tiger have 40mm turret roof armour, while explosive pack and TNT charge have 35mm penetration. If you place it on the 26mm armoured hull roof, it will work and usually detonate ammo storage on the hull side.
Usually 85mm APHEBC one shot axis tanks by detonate their ammo, but there is a bug (or unnotified change) which decreased probability of ammo detonation under certain damage, That is introduced from last major update about wind system and dispersion, and almost all tanks in different factions are affected. Because of the potential merging of campaigns, Axis players flock to Berlin to unlock the best stuff while Soviets in Berlin was infested with noobs and bad players since their skilled players are either in Moscow or Stalingrad where they can also unlock most of their high level stuff in those campaigns.
Of course we have this problem with idiots kept spawning starter tanks where they don’t help much while those with better tanks couldn’t spawn. There were times that I’m the one taking care of Tigers with my T-34-85 or IS-2 since they don’t know how to shoot.
I know how brutal it is to fight inside buidlings in Berlin with just a bolt action rifle so I ended up being the one storming with PPSh squads as low level players are also a problem.
Berlin is much easier as Soviets, all equipment is superior to Germans (except crappy IS-1 and Is-2 that should get buffed), T-34 got huge buff with ammo racks not exploding as often as in the past you can survive multiple demo packs which is just ridiculous you need to have Panzerfaust and tnt at you at all times. Panther is no longer equal or just slightly worse to T-34 it’s completely dominated by t-34s. You have much better smgs ppsh-41 vs shitty beretta m38; one of worst gun in a game vg 1-5 vs ppd 40; pps-42 vs mp3008 lol, op p2w as-44 that only mp43/1 can beat and Fedorov that makes game so easy that you may fall asleep racking over a dozen kills with each life. Only with sniper rifles and flamethrowers both nation are equal but Berlin is not really a great campaign to use snipers since everyone carries assault rifles and there are a lot of cover. Yeah Germans can have a few g43 kurz and Conders but that’s only a single squad what about the rest? I don’t have mp43/1 and fg 42 II unlocked yet, fg42 is nowhere near as good as AVS36/Avt-40. And yet i’m still winning 69% of the time as Germans since Soviet players are so braindead, which is kinda funny, it’s Pacific Allies all over again.
its common knowledge, that berlin allies is enlisted on easy mode. the soviet starter tank is better than most german tanks DEEP into the campaign.
everytime someone here complains about getting bootyclapped by berlin axis, its because the players dont apply basic strategy and play lazily as funk.
Sure superior equipment but not superior players. Im complaining more about the Soviet playerbase in Berlin where sure I apply strategy but the team is a bunch of monkeys while the Germans having the better players.
“Easy mode” depends on the team like a team full of low level and low ranking players is just making this easy mode thing false.
MP43/1 sure is better than PPSh at range but CQB is a different story.
For range you have Fedorov and AVS36/AVT-40, and almost as good AS-44 (actually may be even better and borderline p2w if you can equip 2 recoil perks at same time like STG 45(M) squad) while at CQB germany doesn’t have anything to counter soviet smgs (at least till merge, then we will have stolen mp717(r))

Useing upgraded/truly intended wersion would add some armour at least. Rip off from IS1 is esier for war effort sure, but in game it is just beeing lazy.
probably hull modifications of IS2M would justify buffs to maneuverability and speed bc interiors were changed too.
Yeah i forgot to mention the starter tank of the German one is Panzer IV J, it will get 1 shot by T-34 and its completely trash. It should have been another variant and not J but yeah it is what it is
is-2 indeed is quite bad, i cant even level it up since it takes forever to reload, and its much easier to die to TNT/ Explosives than T-34, T-34 is just better
IS3 was definitely to late to fought in Berlin. And those stories about heavy fight against lost jadgpanthers they allegedly got into during way to Berlin are rather myths. IS3 was part of parade though.
