I just love the BAR mg. I just struggle with the low amount of ammo in each clip - but there is a solution!
I think a belt fed BAR would make an awesome event/battle pass weapon.
What do you think?
(A bar with a 50-round belt would also make an awesome BR IV alternative to the 20-round johnson lmg)

It should be tech tree as allies really dont have much MG variety.
Would make more sense at BR 3 as the MG-34 already sits there.
And I would also like to see the Vickers K with a 60 round magazine at BR 4.

Wouldnt the belt eliminate any advantage you have in terms of mobility?
So it would not make sense for it to keep the low sprint penalty.
Thus a dedicated mg for a 50 round mag would make more sense.
Mate BAR at BR3 is the most op MG in the game, the same thing but with 50 rounds would completely outclass all MGs even up to BR4 and M1919A6 of BR5 too. use your imagination for once in your life. Or maybe you are one of those npcs that can’t imagine an apple inside your head? What a sad life.

Belt fed BAR would surely have much longer reload and more moving dispersion.
It’s what I meant by:
If it stays br3, it would receive some nerfs compared to the magazine one, like longer reload speed, reduced sprint speed, and perhaps even recoil nerf just like mg42100 compared to mg42 classic.
There’s no power creep here, just a cool and strange mg that could be added as event or bp weapon.

I was actually going to suggest previously a 50 round M1919 since Germans get MG34.

People say the BAR is good, I agree regarding the A2 its a very good weapon. BUT, its not an LMG.
As others have said it would also be nice to have some variety for the allies beyond Bren guns and BARs.
So yeah would love to see this in game.
