I have had far too many games ruined by people having there mic unmuted and blasting music or the game volume is coming through there and they dont respond to text or voice requests to mute themselves. Why is such a basic feature of being able to mute someone missing from the game and come on guys.

This is why I don’t use public voice chat in any game.
I guess in the interim of a mute feature being added you can just do things the old fashioned way and scream profanities at them.

What I’d do to actually find people using the vc in game. Not found a single person as of yet.

I thought VC is only thru your premade squad? I have never heard anyone talk in my game
neither do I on the European server but as soon as I put the Russian one or god forgive me

Rainbow 6 is one or the other:
No one speaks when it’s super important and they could give you the info you need

This is false. Voice Chat is not on by default, i tested and none can hear me. It only works if ur are in a party
If you are in a team of 3 other ppl, they can hear you in game, but for randoms (teammates) u cant
it needs to be on by default so i can tell my team what to do. Typing takes too long and will get u killed in the battlefiled
if the Devs added new feature where VC is working now great, a mute is needed too ofc, all other games has this, but VC is very important
i muted all since 1st their was guy using key-board loudly and saying nothing.
