I really should have more Rifle Kills than I do. But I have some levels of OCD’ism where I HAVE to upgrade all my squads with the weapons they came with.
And, I also believe in Variety.
Rifle Squads for the Disrupt and Defeat Troops. Assault for direct point confrontation. I also do not use a lot of tank or airplane stuff. Only when the battle is more casual, or if I have to get in, Kill a few tanks, then bail out and use the Tankers as a psudeo assault squad to keep from losing the point.
Rifle kills are going up though, that screeny is from a little while ago.
After patch in each bush.

I feel the same.
Remember when the highest lvl weapon in Berlin axis was the beretta? It was a Soviet pve paradise…
But that’s when I maxed my axis. (I must like pain, I’m crazy I think).
At some point after the semi nerf, I got so fed up with ppsh41 spam, that I started spamming fg42II in retaliation. It was extremely effective!
But I disliked it. Every minute of it. It felt forced, cheesy, non historical…
Now guess what?
On both side, I limit myself to A SINGLE smg squad (!) And I spam the premium 9 men bolt action riflemen, + the other free riflemen squads… all armed with bolties (and some semis I admit… I missed them)
I feel like in good old Red Orchestra again. At match start, classes were taken on a first come first served basis, everything was restricted in number, except the riflemen.
I always took the mere riflemen. My nickname, Conscript_Joe, comes from here. I didn’t care about stg or ppsh. I was a mere Shutze or conscript.
I had fun.
Now, I feel the same fun again, here in Enlisted. Seeing meta abusers whine and trying to cope is just icing on the cake

no Springfield is better in my opinion.
cheaper to upgrade and starter rifle.
Man I must have destroyed alot of tanks and been heavily using tanks myself but PPSh takes the cake.
Ross has the same cost of upgrade and better rof and reload time, springfield is to slow
wait until i’ll get my hands on vg 1 - 5s.
then i will show you true perfection of a squad.
