Bayonets in moscow

Consider finally adding bayonet on Berdan 2, G1888, Beretta M1918 ( since it has one already but is not retracted) and on other german and russian rifles in campaign. Thx

91/30 is inferior to the dragoon in every way. Definitely in need of a stabber

all you need is to have the bayonet on the winchester

Bayoneted Berdan II, that’s double the meme potential, me gusta.

91/30 should be buffed. It’s basically an upgraded Dragoon that somehow does worse than it’s old variant. Sights are the only advantage.

It should definitely get a stabber

the dragon is the normal mosin, shortened for the cavalry also written in the description, the fact that it has higher stats than the normal one, is the strange thing

It’s shorter than the M1891, not the M91/30. The only real differences between a 91/30 and a dragoon are the sights and stock configuration, until you get to later-production round receiver mosins. Here’s the mosin variants that exist in game, excluding the grenade thrower and sniper rifle, in the order they were produced IRL:

Of these, only the carbines were incapable of fixing a bayonet. Missing is the Cossack variant, but that’s fine since it was identical to the Dragoon rifle, but sighted for shooting without the bayonet attached, where the other long rifles were all zeroed for use with the spike attached.

I dunno as much about german rifles, but I’d love to see more bayonets available in general where they are applicable.
*edit: these are the variants available in the moscow campaign

the normal mosin is the starer rifle what i said wrong?

are you OK?

Most rifles in Moscow have bayonet plugs as far as I know. I don´t think devs should be selective about which rifle with a bayonet plug actually receives bayonet… Literally, every weapon with such a slot should be able to do so.

I’m not sure what you mean by “normal,” but I can’t agree no matter which rifle I try to think of as “normal,” since the OG M1891 is the base model and the M1891/30 is the most produced and issued version, since the starter rifle is the M1907 Carbine.

The Dragoon rifle is only shorter than the original M1891 Infantry Rifle, if that’s what you meant by “normal” rifle then you weren’t wrong, but the Infantry rifle isn’t the starter rifle. I’m not sure exactly how I got them, pretty sure the seven I have were rewards for playing CBT.

yeah, forums got drafting and editing confused, probably user error '-_-

since there are three for me the normal is the first one it gives you, you could also say that I had to specify the model because it could be confusing

Nah, not trying to say what you have to do, just trying to clear up a potential miscommunication. Edited this to better state my point:
