The newly introduced italian bolt action and semi-automatic rifles have all the possibility to mount a bayonet IRL, but in game only 2 can do this, namely the Carcano M41 and the M1891; this leaves out the Carcano M38 and the Armaguerra M39. UPDATE: they added it for the Carcano M38
Also the already implemented Beretta M1918 present in moscow and normandy has a built in bayonet that isn’t usable in game.
So I’m asking for the possibility to chose if i want to use a bayonet or not on the rifles that could mount it, because it’s a pretty good thing to have while fighting in urban CQB combat, especially to finish enemy soldiers without wasting an other bullet.
BUG UPDATE: All the bayonets for my already owned Carcano M41 are gone (this was yesterday), but when i got a new soldier (15 min ago) it came with a bayonet equipped Carcano M41.
Now the question is “is this a bug?” and if yes how can i get back my bayonets?
There are so many weapons that should have bayonets that I cant even list them all for every faction

I suspect it will be a possibility. Devs keep talking of future weapon tuning, and items like bayonets or scopes already have specific slots on the weapon, and are considered add ons themselves (you just can’t remove them for now).
no you can, just go to the soldier customization, select the weapon, select the bayonet and drag the bayonet outside in the gray column on the right, but not on the other bayonets or it won’t come off
Well that’s new! I’m glad to read it, it means the options to customize are closer to being a real thing.
The M38 had a folding bayonet that could be held all time in place.
For this reason, the bayonet scabbard is one of the rarest collector items (the soldiers just disposed of it) 
(BTW I am the proud owner of a Carcano M91/38, in 6.5mm caliber).
Most rifles in game can fit bayonets.
The reason only some do is likely for balance purposes.
