Have you noticed that battle pass got harder as number of kills is increased example - mortar was 30 kills now its 50 !! rip
Also im having such a fun on Berlin with Battle summer task melee kills . on average its 1-2 kill per game ,dunno as melee kills aint easy as before or its just on Berlin maps , so need to do around 30 games just for the summer event !
Somebody is having a hellish summer in the office and decided we should have hell aswell 
I think BP tasks have variable difficulty. The 3 active tasks at once are supposed to be a very easy one, and the other two harder/grindier.
Well Mortat is not really something hard to play, soo 50 kills is not that much, you can get that in one battle.
And melle kills are hell even when there is no event. 
I use my troops that have Axe to do it.
Erm… what? You can just run around and murder bots with a knife. Takes 2, max 3 matches to complete.

I did the melee task in Normandy as Germans. This is actually annoying task to do alongside the planes thing. Atleast pistol task is somewhat tolerable if you have a whole squad armed with good pistols like my Soviet assault squads have TTs but at times, not in the mood to toy around with the pistols.
It’s completely random. I can have “finish twice in the top 50%” wich really requires no effort, or I get sometimes “finish number 1 three times!!!”…
no it isnt any harder. Those tasks just cary a lot. like complete 1-5 games in squad mode
well you have a choice, help team win the match or chase bots with knife and lose !.. more than offten i go with the first choice !
Fourtnally we are able to skip this task
or you can just play normaly, get melee kills and win. That was what i did but if you want choose some other way… well then its your choice
Do it in moscow in museum(i think) map or the city map
In invasion defense, ambushing attackers inside cap points with melee weapons is a viable tactic (even if arguably not the best) to both do the task and play the objective.
I can’t wait for the amount of people armed with swords hiding in bunkers.
To clear the bunker, etiquette state that you must defeat every opponent in a fair 1 on 1 duel. Depending on the number of occupants, clearing a bunker might be time consuming.

Germans at the beginning of a D-day match:
“Hans, something’z off!”
“What’z happenung?”
“Zhere are no Amerikaner!”
“Bist du zerious?”
“Ze beach ist dezerted! Even zheir schiffs sind gone, POOF!”
“Und was ist dat thing down there?”
“Lookz like a giant wooden horze…”
“Dass musst be eine neue sekrit war maschine zhey forgot when leaving!”
“Let’s bring it inzide ze bunker, wir musst examinieren it!”…
Then the americans, hiding behind a hill, look at the germans bringing the big wooden rabbit… err horse inside the bunker.
“Exellent, Baker, your first part of the plan seem to have worked, so what’s next?”
“Well capt, when the germans get to sleep, we will rush out of the rab… horse and capture them all!”
" You mean, we, will rush out of the thing they just brought inside?"
“Yes when they get to sleep, our group who is comfortably hiding behind the hill here will… oh…”
That wouldn’t be a problem, if only someone actually bothered to build a rally point inside the horse
