I think that’s very subjective. Strangely enough, I don’t very often use that 4-burst mode on new Breda. (It’s usable only with -40% vertical perk btw, which isn’t the case for g43k) It feels like wasting ammo most of the time. And semi auto mode is more than enough with this weapon. (This weapon definitely isn’t second G43k, not even close)

But that really means, it’s really not that worthy when you can get 4 pure semi ones from current event.

That’s useful data - I have not played a match or bought a GO weapon since new battlepass dropped. Your comment on “very often” is sort of silly given that it is less that 48h availability and as you said, this is subjective. Your overall thought that this is no second coming of G43k is helpful.

I love the Mondragon but compared to G43k it’s not amazing and I suspect(ed) that some of this BP weapons may be in that tier.

I will reiterate my love for the VMP though.

I don’t know, maybe I will change my opinion yet. But currently for me personally, it feels g43k has way lower skill threshold.
Btw. Semi auto mode on breda feels more reliable than on G43k, but I never had need using it on g43k in the first place lol. (Unlike breda)

I’ll admit I’m in full honeymoon phase with this gun.

Indeed, the G43K is superior in virtually all practical aspects, but still the PG35 gives a very similar feeling.

The recoil doesn’t feel so much higher to me. The only tangible difference is at long ranges, whereas the Kurz may be able to land accurately a full burst, a PG burst will more likely miss with 1-2 rounds. Beat suited for close to medium range fights.

You can literally snipe ±60m metres with G43k while using burst mode.
You can’t really do that with breda if you don’t have reduction of vertical recoil perk on soldier.
At least that’s what I have experienced yesterday.

On this I can agree (see post above), the PG can’t really burst snipe.

But I had a really good defense match, and oh man, the PG DID manage to gun down whole squads in a few clicks, just like the Kurz. Definitely lower TTK than even the Beretta 38.

Me too. But I was in quite opposite situation. From objective I’ve been snipping guys basically on their spawn. xD I was surprised how accurate this weapon is in semi mode.
I have never had opportunity to try it on close range tbh

I cant remember the particulars of that one. Its got full auto too doesnt it? Probably too high BR post merge for pacific (initially anyway)

Nope, it’s slightly worse in comparison to classic one. And it is smg, not rifle. So it can be equipped only by assaulters and vehicle crews.

M2A1 Carbine

Since I am already using the BP garands and para m1 carbines in Pacific, both with that weird stock. It would fit my line up purely because of visual reasons xD

Oh man, my first pre-mature verdict - what a weapon!

In my opinion, not only looking at the stats, it’s arguably the best semi-auto in game.
It’s a Mondragón (and we all know how good it is) but with less damage (13.6 < 15.3) and bullets (20 < 30).

But …

As you said, more manageable (no noticeable) recoil compared to Mondragon. Reload speed is nice, so it makes up for those 10 less bullets anyway and I love the sights (!)
Somehow I fcks up with Mondragon on distance, I don’t know why, but I do.

That never happens with this bad boy.

As an Tunisian Axis connoisseur I have to give it 9.5/10.

After Merge I will give my premium flamers this and the Engie will get the Costa Rican GO edition.

yea i like the burst mode since i always die from people hiding and it did save me a couple of time already but the semi mode is pretty good too decent weapon i give it 8/10 a little less on the reserve tho since the total ammo is 60 and it ran out quick while using burst mode
