  1. Yes the reload is longer but more than 50 procent ammo.
  2. PPSH would be worse. Because of the muzzle flash at long range i cant see anything im shooting and the horizontal recoil ruins it. (Note i never played PPD or PPSH fully upgraded while my MP40 are always maxed.)
  3. I can easily control their recoil, just its a lot harder to predict than MP40. They have more horizontal, but then again i never use the -30 procent horizontal recoil perk. I only use the -40 vertical one.

m38 its the best smg in german berlin so far and probably in the campaigns its represented.

amazing recoil
good ammo per mag
good extra ammo with ammo pouches
good mobility
small 3d model that doesnt block much of the screen
small smoke per shot and good sight pictures once the player got used to the T post on the front sight.

overall . amazing smg. was considered the best smg in ww2 for a reason.

doesnt even matter. just shoot vaguely in the direction of the enemy and enough bullets will hit. its a bullet hose

just blue out some tekst and the option will come up to quote it

MP40 is better. Sights are a-lot better reload time is faster. Since sights are good atleast MP40 can be used at ling ranges unlike M38

i disagree, but not everyone loves the same woman.

mp40 its a good smg, but i considered it inferior to m38 by a large margin.

Thats for telling me how to quote. Yea but then you would waste a lot of ammo. Which wouldnt happen as much with MP40. Also with MP40 i can carry grenade pouches because of the lower rate of fire, more control ability and better damage i can not run out of ammo longer. So then i can take more grenades. With my PPSH i always run out of ammo after killing 8 guys lol. Of course shooting them at farther ranges.

It might be superior but definitely not by a large margain. The only advantages i see is the slightly higher ROF and 8 more bullets. For me it doesnt seem worth it to trade in a faster reload time, better sights, and better long range capabilities.

i have no problem consitantly getting 15+ kills while using a large ammo pouch (usually dying still with ammo on me). i dont really use anything other than ammo pouches, not really my play style to go for extra nades/med kits. so i guess that would be a drawback.

Better sights. And maybe its only me but when i used the M38 horizontal recoil was very hard to predict for me atleast.

it has less recoil (as shown on stats, and playing with it) than the mp40.

but you do you. if the mp40 its better for you i m glad.

but stat wise, gameplay wise, and how the actually weapon performs, the m38 its far better doing the same jobs.
