Battle of the Bulge

As a Belgian and ww2 nerd i would like a campain detecated to the ardennes offensive.
There could be foxholes and perhaps health damage from sitting still for too long.
I hope this can be realised one day.
Thank you in advance.

You can be sure to see this one the next year, because dev are relasing two campaign at year and douing all major battle

I want the Ardennes. Could even not be a full fledged campaign, but a simple expansion to the Normandy campaign.

I need the Ardennes.

Two a year?

yes the developers do 2 campaigns a year

The only reason I want the Ardennes, is for the Jagdpanther.
That’s it. No other reason.

the Jagdpanther in a premium unit in berlin
Capture d’écran (3223)

They were in Normandy irl, the Jagdpanther as well, and in OMG, and a lot of other battles as well

Would rather have the Fall of France. Battle of the Bulge would just be Normandy with snow.

At least with the Fall of France you would have new equipment to unlock, on the French side.

You’re thinking the Jagdpanzer. Thats based off the PZ4 chassis. The Jadgpanther was based of the Panther.

Very different TDs.

That’s fine, but by saying its in Berlin is misleading when in current game its not.

If its planned thats fine, but currently its not. Normandy and the battle of the Bulge saw the highest concentration of it.

You have to go to the editor to see the tank

Only issue is there would be nothing new on the German side, it would literally just be a rehash of Moscow Axis and you will have the same player base issues that said faction is having right now. Bulge might not be the most original either, but both sides can bring in unique things like the aforementioned Jagdpanzer, but also things like M36 Jacksons and M26 Pershings, as well things like the P-61 and maybe even an early Do 335. However, the best campaign for avoiding copy paste is probably still Pacific, as the Japanese have almost nothing that is already in the game, and the Marines fielded some unique things of their own.

There were not that many of them In Normandy, but there were several in OMG, and in Alsace as well, amongst other places.

Yeah but I imagine the vast majority of players are mostly infantry focused, so a few new German tanks really wouldn’t help retain a playerbase for the Germans in a Buldge campaign. Pretty much any campaign that’s added that involves Germans will have a playerbase balance in favor of the opposing side.

No Pershing’s in the Bulge.

M24 Chaffe first saw action about that time though.

But I am being specific and the developers are very lose with there rules for inclushion.

In my opinion to there own determent.

If they were a bit more realistic with their choices of vehicles for different campaigns, they could have a wider variety of tanks for different campaigns in NW Europe.

Everything you said is true, however even if you only look at infantry, any campaign set in the early war will suffer even more from lack of player base as much of the iconic stuff used by all parties in the war first saw production during the war, especially if we are talking about Germany.

Correct, no Pershings were at the Battle of the Bulge, but the order for them to be sent to Europe was sent just before the Battle occurred and the first one arrived in Europe as Bulge was wrapping up. Combined with the devs rule of “if it exists we can add it” and the necessary power creep that will happen in a Bulge campaign, the Pershing is very likely to be added to a Bulge campaign even if it was not there.

Also yes, the Chaffee will be there if Bulge is made an actual campaign, probably the starter tank paired with like a Panzer III N or something.

Fair enough. I dont go in there so I have no idea whats slated for what campaign.
My only comment was Bulge (which this thread is about) saw their highest use, so it makes sense for it to be the campaign where it is an unlock.
