The MP40’s description says it has a higher fire rate than the MP38, but the difference between the two is either negligible or non-existent. The two are, at this point, the same gun but with cosmetic changes. So, why on Earth would people spend twice as many silver orders to get a submachine gun that is identical in stats to the MP38, but requires more bronze orders to upgrade?
Very similar to the beretta in Tunisia. Only upgrade the first one (m1) till the m38 WHICH HAS 40 BULLETS PER MAG UNLIKE MOSCOW is worth it…
Yeah, you’re better off with mp38, then switch to mp35, then the Kiraly if you’re comfortable with terrible recoil.
Or switch to Soviet side, it’s easy mode.
Pretty much sums up the whole campaign
Buy the MP40 from Normandy/Berlin for 1 silver order then transfer it.
I just got a stockpile of MP 40s in Moscow from the days when you could get weapons for bronze orders. I think I still have like a couple dozen left over after Stalingrad.
All the more reason for the development team to look into this flaw. If the Soviets can get a really good upgrade to their submachine gun (drum mag), then the Germans should not get a downgrade to theirs.
