Baseball Bat weapon

I for the live of me can’t remember if it was ever used has a melee weapon during ww2. Do that isn’t the point during WW2 the US army, navy, and reserve forces had sports equipment sent to them to get a since of home lay fighting.

I thought it’d be a funny idea to get a batta batta sling pose when hitting the enemies head.
