Barbed wire

can we get rid of the map default barbed wire or at least make it all destructible. the omaha like run is a fun slog but if its their someone has the time to cut it, same with the axis last spawn point has to run through an uphill field of the stuff to defend and the AI of course will all lose half their health to it making the defense all that much more difficult.

I concur, these wire belts should be easily destroyed by arty, bombs or the nuclear, I mean explosive packs.

why you havnt radio station? why you didnt to buid one?

Why would that matter for the unremovable wires? I don’t think the D-Day guys kept hurting themselves with same barbed wire over and over again instead of removing all the unnecessary clutter…

That’s a poor position of barbed wire.
Was like that since the first public test in normandy if I recall correctly.

Another thing kinda related, I did manage to find with barbed wire and some patience of mine testing it, is blocking a enemy bot path and lead them to where you want. It’s strong once you manage to know the paths bots take all the time on the maps.

But i think it’s too big of a deal to let everyone know it. So… I can suggest placing more barbed wires on known paths and see how bots react…
Doors , bunker entrances and such unfortunatly don’t work with this way.

one thing i have noticed is that some of them respawn

Are you sure it’s not engineers placing them again?

in the same game, one game i parked a tank ontop of some and it was respawning every 3 seconds making my tank jump around, it was hella hard to aim
