1)Artillery Spam -
I just spent an entire game being bombarded by artillery, I don’t mean just an ever so slighty well placed shell barrage either, I mean non stop spawn + point arty spam.
I can only imagine that, as time goes on and people unlock things, the games will simply be a mess of spamming things, this should be addressed sooner rather than later as it may be game breaking.
Which WW2 “faction” had unlimited focused shells with no time to reload, no time to cool off, nothing! Just ready to shoot modern trebuchets that don’t require cooldown, it’s silly.
2)Point distance -and game start
Why don’t both teams start at the same time in point capture maps? Why is one team close to two points while the other team has to run considerably to even the closest one?
Tanks -
Controlling a tank is tricky, I’ll give you that.
You know what’s also tricky? The non existing effective AT from infantry (that I have unlocked, does an engineer squad have anything AT that is not another vehicle or stationary?)
I would even understand all that but, once you get close to the tank you can’t do anything about it? Not open the hatch, no interactible that allows you to throw a grenade inside? It seems that it needs balancing (imo, it may not).
Bullet registering -
So many times I am prone and aiming at the enemy, I have them deadright in my sight, they’re not moving, they’re as good as dead…shoots nothing happens…and then the AI all knows where you are and decide to 360 noscope the back of your head by boomeranging a bullet (it’s satire, AI needs to have some handicaps - beyond their absolute instruction rigidity).
Stationary Machine Guns -
So these weapons are just an instant hop on and shoot, instand hop out, no reloading necessary ever and have endless bullets…This makes no sense. They can overheat, yay. Put some bullet boxes next to them and have them require a reload at least…or maybe you can break them, maybe you can build up a point and rotate them.
Not sure what you’d prefer but it surely needs something done.
Ammo -
I understand the need for some realism, I understand the unlocking as levels go by, but do you really want new players to, even if they do succeed, just run out of ammo by shooting a dozen shots?
It’s still a game in the end and interaction is important.
Typo -
When the enemy is winning there is a message stating “The enemy is winning! Don’t let this to happen”
The “to” is incorrect, rather “The Enemy is winning, don’t let this happen!” or “…don’t let it happen”…or “…push forward!”. Anything is more immersive than a typo.
I agree with the artillery spam, it is really frustrating to be perma stunned when you are defending a point in conquest and have to sit on the point otherwise the enemy will just get in, cap half of the point and finish capping the second time.
I don’t know about the distance to points, it seems like the team doesn’t always go directly to the point so both teams don’t arrive at the same time. But if it isn’t the case it should be fixed sooner than later.
The det packs can easely destroy tanks if you are close enough, cook it and then throw it under the tank, being able to open the hatch would be cool but maybe a bit too op in the cities.
I don’t know about bullet registering, might be lag on your side or a bug but I don’t remember it happening to me.
For the machine guns, you can break them and you should absolutely do it if it is facing your direction, for example on d-day I always begin with a tank or a crew with a sniper to break most of the mgs.
You can request ammo from your squad if you don’t have any and don’t want to switch soldiers or go to an ammo box if an engineer in your team (or you) put one down, they don’t do it often but you can see it on the minimap.
Thank you for commenting! I appreciate that someone took the time ^^
I agree with you, the tank hatch would be too op, maybe it could have been an idea to be able to sit inside the tank and shoot up, meaning you wouldn’t be operating it but you would be able to protect yourself to an extent. A bit complicated to do I’m guessing (at this point).
I’ll try to do that! Thanks for the tip!
Hm, I will see if it keeps happening, it may be something on my side.
I had no idea that you could break them! That’s cool.
I also didn’t know you could ask the squad from it!
I believe adding these things to the tutorial could be very helpful!
It looked harmless at first but I find it to be a terrible idea now. Two players calling artillery on a cap point non-stop can make it virtually impossible to capture. Had a couple of games like that yesterday.
Not that I don’t abuse it when I have the chance
Never really found it to be too bad tbh. One map I can think of which has this issue is Kamenka River conquest in Moscow campaign. Again, not something that I’ve been terribly concerned about. A fix wouldn’t be bad nevertheless.
It’s a server/netcode issue from what I know. Happens very often while using guns with high RoF like the PPDs. Seen it happen with rifles too but not that often. It’s annoying as hell tho when it happens out of nowhere.
I think they are alright. They are not very difficult to take down. Having reloads will make it even more easier to target the MGs.
I’ve seen a lot of typo in the game over the months. A good amount of them has been fixed. I’m sure more will get the same treatment in the future.
Very good points, I found out some things from a previous comment, many of the things could be in a tutorial.
I think that once someone unlocks a different kind of battalion, there could be a tutorial unlocked.
