Balance related to combat rifles

We need to balance the combat rifles of the four factions.
Firstly, the United States has a good T20 and does not require any changes.

The FG-42 in Germany should be balanced as follows:
Both FG-42 Type 1 and FG-42 Type 2 are equipped with bayonets, which are already modeled in the game.
The firing rate of FG-42 Type 1 is increased to 900 in reality, and then the firing rate of FG-42 Type 2 is reduced to 600 in reality
3. Compensate FG-42 Type 2 and increase its damage to the same level as T20.

Japan should increase the walking recoil of the machine gun and fix the bug of missing lid rendering. I believe that the reason why this machine gun was not selected in history is not due to Japan’s inability to afford ammunition. It is certain that this machine gun cannot be as laser powered as in the game.

On the Soviet side, the AVT-40 increased its firing rate to the historical 750, then modified its damage to match the current FG-42 Type 2 in the game, and finally gave it a 20 round bullet magazine. If we can make its recoil spread the same as T20, that would be even better.

the type hei machine gun wasnt selected because it was unreliable (this is true for like half of the prototype gun in enlisted)

Even if it was reliable it was not going to be selected or adopted because the Japanese army was run by very old fashioned Generals that really where not in favor of replacing bolt action rifles for Semi-automatic weapons and the lack of resources was also a big issue so high rate of fire weapons where not favorable do to their ammo cost. Not gonna mention the manufacturing problems of this weapon the Type Ko was the worst from logistical and manufacturing point but type hei was much better for manufacturing however even Type Hei was just very complicated that’s why Japan stopped at Type 4 rifle cuz it was much easier to manufacture. So type hei semi automatic rifle was not going to be adopted despite being used and the type hei machine gun really had no chance at all.

Soviet players are so afraid of FG42 getting the one hit kill (like the other selectfire rifles), that they would see both those changes as massive buffs.

That being said, type hei automatic kills with one shot and has a 30 round magazine - it actually deserves a damage nerf, only assault rifles should be allowed to have those 30 round mags.

I agree that the fire rate should be adjusted to reflect how the guns work IRL, I don’t agree with the other stuff though. If anything the damage of semi-autos should be synchronized to the machine gun equivalents across the board.

No, unless they add a new AVT with 20 round mags. The current ones are the standard size, 20 rounders were very rare.

That’s literally irrelevant in enlisted lmao

Yes, Germany gave the Japanese drawings for MG42 and MG34, but this is not a project of priority for Japan

I dont where you’re getting the 600round/min figure for the type 2, from all that I’ve found regarding the rate of fire it sits somewhere close to the 700-750rpm range - the lowest I could find sat at 680rpm which is dramatically different to 600rpm
