Lol there is no tactic that will save you if you get spotted and you canât shoot back. 
idk this obsession with vickers. i would take german MGs before i would take vickers. actual vertical recoil for mg34 is 14 and horizontal is 17, while for mg42 it is 14 and 14. for vickers vertical is 28, while horizontal is 18.
vickers is ok in prone position and in cqc, but if you try to use it beyond 5 meters while standing you are lucky if you manage to kill someone and that is if you burst fire.

Once you tame the recoil, is the best MMG of the game, with insane RoF for CQC, perfect hipfire, laser accuracy for any range and large magazine if you ever need to pre-fire it, I legit can snipe people in short burst(over 200m) while crouching, if you bipod that thing in a killzone, enemy gonna think twice before walking into it

I think it is to make up for the fact you run out of ammo a lot faster than the MG 42,so you wonât spend 3/4 the time you are playing this squad reloading it

there is literally no reason why Germany shouldnt get a 100 round belt fed Mg42 after the merge or better with the merge, the gun already exists, it would take so little work from the devs.
