Yeah in general, guns are not as loud as in reality.
MG34, MG42, MG45 should have non desintegrating belts
MG42 & 45 should have guide rail on the cover on the right instead of on the left
MG45 has the same sound as MG42
MG42 should have higher rof (about 1200-1500)
All lack barrel change mechanic

But it is not the problem of fg42. It is the problem of most sniper in game.
thats a great idea for a MG mechanic, but in order for barrel change to be required, the mg’s should have a overheating mechanic, i know that the static ones do, but crew served mg’s dont.

yeah, weapons such as gewehr 43 should be both for sniper and rifleman, considering that gewehr 43 was made from the factory with scope rail, so it doesnt make sense that there is 2 separate gewehr 43’s for researching, as said before, the weapons should be classified as whats put on them.
MG 42s rof was dependent on the quality of the recoil spring inside it, their rof varied between 800-1500 rounds a minute depending on the spring, while the current rof is technically correct I agree that it should be higher, personally I think just make its current upgraded rof the base and make the buffed rof closer to 1150 or 1200

i agree, i certainly hope they raise the ROF, because its so stupid that old MG15 is way better than a MG42, there should just be a different option, either get the 1500rpm mg42 but only have 50 rounds, or have mg15 with 75 rounds, but the fire rate is 1000 rpm at its best

There is no sound coming from the clip of the mannlicher, It is not “ejected” rather it just slides out of the bottom of the magazine with gravity. I own an M1895 and can assure you it makes no such noise.
i dont know, ive watched this vid, and i can hear a faint ping of the mannlicher clip
The only thing you are hearing is the sound of brass ringing on ejection. if your were to hear something it would be on the chambering of the last shot any im not noticing any different sounds. There are several videos of this online but i cant seem to link to the one that shows this action from the side profile.

It would make sense to me that the anti-tank class should use a shotgun.
but the issue is, not every faction/country had the same weapon classification as the rest of them.
for example germany really shunned shotguns because ww1 war crime stick. and apart from some luftwaffe survival shotguns, they had nothing else in regards to shotguns, so a shotgunner class was pretty much non existant in german army. however for allies they could have the shotgunner class re-introduced, so the shotgun is for shotgunners only, same thing goes with the FG42 paratrooper rifle, it should be for paratroopers only
Yes, I sincerely agree that the sound of the Mp40 was much better in the past. The current one is terrible. It sounds like the sound of cutting an apple to me.
the most dreadful sound is fg42-1, the sound of Fg42-1 gives the impression of a suppressed weapon.

without a doubt, it could have a same sound like FG42 II but altered, like how sounds are similar for G43 and gerat 03, and how gewehr 41’s old sound was similar
Dont quote me on this, but I always feel like the Japanese Type Hei has the same sound and ping like the Garand?
yeah it does, even carcanos/armaguerra/pavesi has the same ping
DE better fix the accuracy of the axis weapons. They really have awful shot deviations
