Just a reminder to remember to include the matching helmets on the premium Paras, they can change to different colour gear, but not their helmets (I am using the same camo as the premium non flying parachute squad with Kirali).
The same options should apply to event axis Paras please.
Agree with your statement. It’s not about lack of assets, but about adjustment of customization options, should be easy to fix. Also, this one should be adressed as well:

Event para cant use other paratroopers uniform
so essentially, germans para don’t really have much about paratrooper uniforms nor helmets. ( except for the premium one. since they the ability to use other paratrooper uniforms ) but none paras helmet.

regarding for the free version, i don’t think they will allow to use premium uniforms.
so idk what they will give them.

there are in total only 5 paratrooper helmets.
a non camo version,
a tinted brown/green version from the g41 premium squad in normandy,
2 sumpftarn variant ( yellow camos. one for the premium squad, and the second of the non premium squad )
and to conclude, one varient of the splinter green camo for the kiraly premium squad of normandy.
which, from what i can see in the picture sended by @gastanofrizzi , the uniform displayed is of the lighter version of the m43 squad.
therefore, it wouldn’t match.
the rest goes for many other cosmetics. some of them do not match and do not have an equivalent / the same camouflage.
i don’t think it will going to be an easy fix. as cosmetics usually are the least priority.
let’s hope for the enahncher that was hinted probably coming with the merge update
what they could and should do, is to add more clothings to the non premium squad, and perhaps add the helmet covers for both.
Sadly you can’t change among those five paratroopers helmets for Axis in Normandy (Krieghoff and the event squad).
You can only change to the regular ones.

Yeah, none of these are available for the player to equip on the paratroopers squad as far as I know.
So it’s basically all the regular ones, but not those paratrooper helmets available in game files!
ah alright. i made some confusion ( thinking you were talking about the other squads as well. which, it’s worthed to investigate to know if they have other customizations items and what not. such as the g41 squad, the kiraly etc ).

I would agree with this statement, if other free paratroopers didn’t get unique customization, but they did, so i believe free german paratroopers with default customization set is just a bug, which need to be adressed
Those aren’t paratrooper uniforms. That might have been the official designation of the units, but they are effectively luftwaffe-feld divisions with luftwaffe uniforms and a camo smock thrown over it.
Why are the collars still wrong
Btw. One completely random fact:
You can buy same upper torso for panzerwerfer crew which they already own as complete body set.
Reason? I guess it’s only for people who hates matching camo sets.
