In this event we are getting Chinese riflemen, cool. But what about Romanians, Hungarians and Fins for example? I get that you want to attract that certain gaming market but isnt the axis bit TOO neglected on that field? They already have their stuff included in game like the tech tree even, but other than that they are being “represented” by Germans. Like the suomi squad for example, where lack of finnish voicelines made me not buy them. I dont think that it would require too much of work to add something that isnt German into Axis in any future.
The Axis faction nationalities:
-Germans
-Italians (which still wear German clothes on Eastern Front maps lol)
Yeah I do see a big problem there, and I hope that im the future it will get properly patched. Variety is the spice of life and I totally would love to see the idea of nationalities being expanded upon. There will be many opportunities to do so, like with the Soviet-Japanese campaign which could introduce Mongolians lets say.
There is a Finish tank skin for PZ IV and there is a lot of Axis none German equipment sadly even the paratrooper squad was not with Hungarian uniforms
Ironically the Austro-Hungarian army was actually average, people compare it to the German or French armies, but those were God tier.
The actual bad armies of the war were the Belgian, the Romanian and the Ottoman.
Yeah but they where really not prepared for World War 1 where Germany and Bulgaria had to carry them and at the end it was too much for Germany to handle cuz they had to supply all with weapons and don’t forget the Italians they where also very bad xD But look the French did good in WW 1 not like the Americans that did nothing .
That’s not entirely true. We do have a number of foreign legions within this game. Legacy Berlin most notably had SS divisions comprised of men recruited from Scandinavia, Latvia, Hungary/Romania, the Netherlands and France. The only issue is the fact that they do not speak their own native languages or have native names.
But it is something I spoke about, the divisions you mention arent really foreign in literal sense considering we have to use the power of imagination for them to be not German
