Axis and allies low BRs (I, II) are fun

All the best maps are at low BR, I refuse to go above BRII to play Berlin, which, in my humble opinion, is horrible compared to the other campaigns. For allies the situation is similar, since you completely block yourself from the Pacific campaign by playing BRV, and no one is currently incentivized to get a BRIII/IV build solely for this reason.

Now that Normandy and Bulge have been added to low BRs, playing with allies and axis is definitely more fun and less chaotic than the delirious mechanized warfare of the BRIV/V, which I wouldn’t even call competitive since they currently just seem chaotic… obviously that’s mine opinion and everyone sees the game as they want, but honestly now I don’t see any good intentions or incentives for playing in high BRs.

Speaking of incentives, I still don’t see the bonuses promised for “join any team”, has the idea been completely abandoned or will it be introduced soon or after?

I do enjoy playing BR2 and BR5 (BR in case of Japan) line up exactly the same.
I haven’t played any other BR line up, since there’s no point for me. (I am not saying I not using BR1 stuff in BR2 line up and so).

I don’t like Tunisia maps exactly in the same manner I do not like Berlin maps.
So it’s not like playing low BRs has any map advantages for me.

IN low br you will have incompetent teammates and sweatstacks that bully the noobs. In high br everything is so chaotic

Agree , Widowmaker. My Americans never get to go. We can all hope for better refinement on a potentially great game. :+1:

Ya, I prefer the lower BR, but it has problems, never see Tunisia, or rarely do, and wind up on maps I don’t care for a lot, don’t want to yuk anybody’s yum, but not so much a fan of the New maps there basically just CQB drill madness like Normandy.

And BR III still feels like a violation of BR I&II to me, and you cant really enjoy the early planes with the P38 buzzing about No I-16/Hs 123 fun anymore

Im playing BR3 now because im helping a freind, and that really sucks when you go against BR5s, i wish they made BR3 its own tier

Yeah after having enough with br5, I equipped 3 rifleman squad with full m1 carbines. So fun

I used to curse all of the Tunisia maps, but for some reasons I do like them more than Berlin nowadays.

Well, Moscow still keeps being my favourite campaign no matter what, so one could say enjoy the old maps the most.

One thing though, and I usually don’t enjoy playing conquest all that much, the new Ardennes conquest map with that fortified hill in the center is nice, usually conquest map are too fast paced and capture points are too close together to make vehicles any useful, but those capture points are far enough separated to allow for tanks and transport vehicles to be actually useful.
