Both of the planes are (currently) BR3, yet the American plane uses the British Attacker squad, while the British plane uses the American Attacker Squad. Can this be switched? It would be nice if the correct squads were using their appropriate nations vehicles.
Additionally the Whirlwind has been classified as a “USA” plane meaning you cannot give it any British customization.
Yeah I have no idea why they give the US plane to UK squad and the UK plane to US squad xD

It would be a very nice QoL, but there are likely more important things to address. Just trying to strike while the irons hot.
While yes that is stupid. I would also open up another squad to be able to be used in the BR range as the US would now be able to use both US and a UK attacker squad in that BR by default.
And since how the TT and pilot squads are set up you only get a single plane matching the current BR by default. So if you randomly give attacker 2 slot planes to attacker 1 or 3 squads you double or triple the amount of attacker 2 planes with matching BR you can bring.
So I would be in favor of abolishing the entire vehicle squad look to certain slots entirely but not by creating radom exeptions some factions can exploit.
Especially not if it is just some but it has the wrong picture as a reasoning when I am sure that 90% of the infantry squads ingame never got to see a single gold order weapon IRL.
This is already the case. You can use both the Whirlwind and the XA-38 in two different squads.
Also, I am always amused by the fact that USA is the only faction without an Attacker 3 squad.
But not with TT squads…
I know that legacy squads exist but that should not stop the devs from getting rid of a stupid system that pits your new new event vehicles against the already proven ones over which is more worth useing.
This is probably the best and maybe last opportunity like that to get rid of the stupid system.

The Whirlwind is used by the TT attacker 1 squad (Marine attack squadron 231) while XA-38 Grizzly is used by the TT attacker 2 squad (No. 144 squadron)
Actually both XA-38 and Whirlwind can only be used by TT squads

It is a major update that they have to finally and properly refine Britain and Italy. I’m getting tired of them constantly shafting Britain. They put a UK plane in a US squad, and a US plane in a UK squad, what the heck!
Britain and Italy may be sub factions (for the foreseeable future) but they should be properly fleshed out

That’s not an excuse. They did these haphazard mistakes in the first place causing them to be needed to be fixed when it could’ve been entirely avoided in the first place
theres some wierd logic going on somewhere when they add stuff. (or none)
Details/quality matter IMO…especially the no brainer ones
