Automatic fire extinguishers for some tanks

Some tanks had a system that automatically detects and extinguishes fires in the engine compartment.
Maybe add this to the game?

Engine etc. is still in pieces after the fire so tanker still needs to go out and repair it. Untill the repair, “extinguishing foam” is still in the compartment so it can’t burn.

Also for balance reason maybe limit it to one charge. After it is used, you need to go to resupply.

Tbh I don’t know if it would be usefull or even doable (game engine and stuff). But it would be a nice gimmic.

It would definitely be useful. You could still shoot back and not stress out about being burned/blown up alive

I like your suggestion.

whole repair system is so buggy that they should remove it entirely. idk how they managed to BS people that it was faster than old system.

Yes, the new system is extremely annoying and uncomfortable.

I wrote this because 50% (probably more but I don’t want to exaggerate) of successful penetrations end up in tank exploding. Fire suppression is not really helpful against this.

Personally I don’t mind it. Except for “you are too far away” thing it seems to work fine to me.
Most of the time I don’t have a chance to fix my tank anyway.

But yeah, it’s far slower than the previous system.

also it is nightmare to select correct part without game wanting to repair healthy part

Tell this to BR1-3 US tank with their ammo that lacks any explosive filler.

Maybe I simply play too little to notice.

Most US tanks I see are M8, M4 with 105 and caliope xd Ok, occasional 76 here and there.
Though I rarely play vs yanks. No idea why really.
