Sometimes in battles somebody might go afk in my APC and stop anyone from spawning in it.
The solution is pretty simple:
•passengers will be kicked from stationary APCS after 5 seconds
•to ensure your APC stays stationary, when you leave your APC it should automatically enable a hand brake
•unrelated but a change I want to see is the ability to move my APC after the original APC squad is dead. So if I spawn a squad after they can still enter the APC and move it.

Players won’t get kicked unless the APC is stationary

Thank you for your post I fully support everything here.
This is a real problem and it needs to be fixed.
I’d also add if I may a better ability on maps to select rallypoints. As in, whenever an APC is parked near a regular rallypoint, on the map it becomes extremely difficult (sometimes downright impossible) to select the rallypoint that is ‘hidden’ by the APC.
Similar issue with two APCs parked very close together.
Now I agree that ideally players shouldnt put rallies close together but it happens. Especially when someone builds a normal rallypoint and then later someone comes along in an APC and parks right next to it.
I don’t always blame them either because there’s various maps where there’s very few places to actually put a rally without being under fire or being so far back it kinda defeats the purpose of the rallypoint.
Oh and one more thing:
I agree with removing spawning passengers but Id also like the ability for players to ride in an APC same as one would a jeep or generated truck.
Like your squadmate should be able to hitch a ride.
I understand that ‘space’ is needed for spawning passengers but ultimately an APC is just a mobile spawn, you should be able to you know, carry personnel? Especially if the truck is empty.
I’d say that if there is a squad or player using a seat (as in theyve asked to hop in and youve accepted) then any squads spawning from that truck would just not be shown ‘in’ it theyd just watch kind of like a spectator and then when the truck stops exit as usual and go fight.
To be a passenger I would suggest the driver gets a little prompt ‘CaptainBeel wants to be a passenger Yes No’ sort of thing.

Absolutely agree with these ideas that’d be such a nice QOL for APCs
Recently I’m playing Hell Let Loose and its handbrake feature is really good. Also HLL allows players to select spawn points from a list, which avoid the difficulty of selecting between two nearby spawn points.
