Auto bipoding vs manual bipoding

According to document shared by Keo here: https://www.reddit.com/r/enlistedgame/comments/sqa4wa/i_am_very_grateful_to_you/ , it seems that devs are going for auto bipoding.

I wonder what’s your opinion on this as in the past most people were sceptical about auto bipoding.

Personally I’m ok with it but I guess I’d preffer manual bipoding.

Both can be acchived.

Auto bipod as an option or how batlefield 5 did. Would like that ngl

Hng bipod system wasn’t as bad to deploy as current enlisted is.

A rework must be done here. It’s kinda pain to deploy a machine-gun sometimes on some windows or edges around the map.

Bipoding needs more work, no doubt.
It’s just a question whether you prefer auto or manual.

H&G has the best bipods I’ve seen in a video game. When I used them, I had no complains.
I’d even call it a golden standard.

I’d be OK with auto bipod, as long as it DOESN’T automatically glue my gun to the ground whenever I go prone preventing me to aim in front of me if the ground is downhill.

Id honestly prefer a more polished HnG bipoding system over any sort of auto bipod.

HNG has both systems where you auto bipod if proned on the ground but you can bipod yourself if standing near a bipodable surface

I don’t recall this being a feature.

likely something they did in the past 2 years

If autobipoding will be just as now, but in automode - nope! Even if you succesfully plant MG on surface - pointing angles can be ridiculous.

So, BF1-BF5 model will be grate. Normal manual bipoding will be grate too.

It is good that devs are conscious about the bipod problem, but the way they try to fix is so lazy. Whether it is automatic of not, we know it don’t work greatly and sometimes i can’t even properly aim. It won’t make huge difference unless they do an overhaul of mounting system.

I just want them to fix how bipoding makes your gun go weird a lot of times. I am okay with it being manual however, I have a button on my mouse to help me do that already.

I second this statement

Yea, as yqo people above mentioned, mounting a weapon is one of a veeery few things that H&G does well (very well in fact). But when it comes to Enlisted, it doesn’t matter for me if I have to press a button or not. As long as the weapon doesn’t have 5° of movement up, down and sideways when mounted on anything other than window or floor, it’s fine by my standards.
