I still think it’s stupid we have the new bug report system when it doesn’t even work but whatever. My Austen squad mates will only defend themselves with pistols, the AI already sucks in this game and this just makes it even worse.

This happens in all infantry squads and can only be avoided by removing the pistol
But I love the pistol too much 
but yeah this is across all squads, i have been having the same issue
I’m just impressed how badly AI works in an AI focused game, i guess lots of AI — lots of problems
I equipped my ai with rifles and pistols, but sometimes he was weird and only used pistols
Is a bug wo is supposed to be fixed, practically the AI think pistol as better weapon than their main gun, this happen with assaulter and at-gunner all other classes dont have this problem
Other soldiers had the same problem, and my soldiers agreed that the single-action revolver was much more powerful than the AVT40 or RD44, so they happily took out Babushka’s Nagunt and shot at the enemy from 100 meters away.
I’m absolutely impressed by how terrible the AI is as well. These AI soldiers are more useless than the Marines in Halo on legendary.
