On August 1st, 1914, Germany join the First World War. To do something for this first event, Enlisted should give us quest to do which if we do enough of them, we can earn up to 2 Tank Gewehrs, they can also add the Gewehr 98 to the German tech tree as well. This is the perfect time to bring the Gewehr 98 into the game and a great time to give players a change to get the Tank Gewehr.

I want the Gewehr 98 in the RT because the US, UK, Italy, and Japan all have their WW1 rifle.
Also add the original Mosin M91 to the USSR RT as well!

This update would add it into the tech tree in a folder with the Kar98k

Isnt the original m91 a legacy gun along with trench k98 and air service springfield?
If that were true for the sake of all having all WW1 service rifles in game then it should be reimplemented

Nah. Although WWI had almost everything to do with the start of WWII, I don’t think it’s “age”-appropriate to celebrate the day for a war that isn’t a part of the game…
It’s like celebrating 6th April 1917 when the USA finally joined WWI… It has nothing to do with WWII.
They have WW1 weapons in the game so I don’t see a problem with it
I mean we had that dumbass hockey event, nothing is off the table because of that shit.
Still I do agree, I think remembrance day would be a better occasion to line it up with. And its fitting if you wanted to reintroduce the “old guard” line of weaponry, stuff like the MG08, Lewis gun, gewher 98, etc, etc. All still used fairly extensively in WW2 as well, but certainly dated.
