AT soldier perk: penetration indicator

I think it would be nice to give AT soldiers a unique perk that gives them pen indicator (like tanks have) when aiming hand AT weapons.
I think it should be available quite early (max at 3 stars) so it can help the new players, but it can be expensive. Also imo the first AT soldier new players get should have this perk equipped by default (in case they don’t know how perks work yet).

Additionally, this perk could add lead indicator for the fliegerfaust.

Edit
To prevent sniping tanks from the other side of the map, the indicator could disappear after certain distance.

Then don’t. It’s meant to be a help for new players, not something meta for min-maxers.

Even with tanks, there are many problems and many times it gets bugged, now imagine if we wanted to have it in infantry.

For me it works 9/10 times.
And even if it worked 5/10 times, it’s still better than new player lacking any knowledge on armour guessing where to shoot.

I think it can be very OP, because besides showing the weakness of the armor, it can make aiming at long distances much easier.

Good players can do that already. This perk just makes it easier for noobs but costs them perk points.
Basically “pay to lessen the skillgap”.

Also theoretically you could make it disappear if you aim at 100+ meters or something.

Maybe this will solve the problem of grey zone tanks for everyone, so why not?

Untill players are able to kill a tank with a knife anywhere on the map, grey zone tank complains will remain with us.

It’s not like worse repair system, AT soldiers to “every” premium/event squad, better AT guns, guerrillas and so on… wasn’t enough.

In the past I’ve made suggestions about buffing tanks and you’ve disliked most of them. So now kindly piss off with your complains.

Because it wasn’t really a buff to tanks. You just wanted to nerf already nerfed EPs even more.

And how about increasing survivability of tanks by making them harder to one shot? Or about points for infantry for escorting the tank?
If I remember correctly, you were against both. You didn’t try to provide any constructive criticism that could improve my ideas (they aren’t flawless by any means) and you didn’t suggest anything yourself.

So stop complaining about ideas of others, write a suggestion on how to improve things. Give solutions, not only point out issues.

That’s naive idea. You don’t have to stand next to tank to protect it. All have you to do is to kill anyone who’s approaching it with EPs or focus at killing AT soldiers.

You just have to pay attention to what’s happening on the battlefield. I don’t see how having to be near a tank would help. The tank itself just attracts attention. And therefore it it would drawn to you.

And assigning bots to be near the tank would only mean free kills for the enemy team.

Me and @Comrade_Sina just made an improvement to it by adding a range limit to prevent abuse.

It’s not a lot but it’s infinitely better than your input.

Well, the solution is not to put such a thing in the game at all.
I don’t see why every change someone proposes on the forums should be pushed into the game at all cost.

If I don’t like something and think it’s total bullshit. I’m not going to defend and try to improve it.
It’s like trying to cook a meal from rotten ingredients.
What would be point of that?

Btw. And I definitely supported some of your other ideas that I like.
But some of your suggestions, I just can’t support. I just don’t like them fundamentally.

Btw is not necessary make it disappear, the indicator should globally be refined on everything use it, outside the effective range it shouldn’t show green, yellow or red, but just yellow because at that distance it can’t be known if there is pen or no
