Hello all, I would like to see some additions and some small changes to AT Rifles.
Japan’s AT Rifle is simply the best AT Rifle … BR I … and fun to use. As its not overshadowed by Launchers in the same BR, in great spot
Germany/Axis Europe … The PZB 38/39 should be placed in a folder together, the only difference really being the 5 extra rounds (its still manually loaded anyway). A semi auto AT Rifle such as the Solothurn S-18/100 20 mm anti-tank cannon should be placed in BR I as a semi auto option and to keep pace with other factions.
USA/UKC … The Boys ATR is one of the worst AT Rifles. Its one grace of being able to sprint with was removed a while back making it feel worse. A semi auto rifle needs to be added. I would love to see the Winchester .50 Semiauto Rifle that was experimented with in BR I at some point.
Soviets … Very simple change, dropping the PTRS 41 to BR I. At BR II it is severely lacking and is completely overshadowed by the M1 Bazooka. I think this would make AT rifles much more balanced.
AT Rifle are way too useless is this current game. puting them all BR I could be a nice idea even if they
could stillbeing dominated by explo and tnt
I Know you can’t really compare explo pack and TNT with thoses rifles because the range of action isn’t the same but they’re overall effectivness is pretty bad .
Since everyone can use Explo pack and TNT and for the camper we have gerilla

Very fair argument however I cant see that working. It would be very unfair having for instance BR I Boys rifle and BR II whatever the Japanese AT rifle is called.
As the post says just make AT rifles BR I as (with the exception of Japan) they all suck anyway.
It’s also logical since AT rifles have some chance against BR I tanks. After that it’s hopeless.
BR I is also locked so beginners can get the hang of dealing with tanks before being forced to fight Panthers with a glorified Nerf gun.
The only at rifle atm that is BR 2 is the PTRS 41 … which is overshadowed by the M1 Bazooka also being BR 2 … yet has about half the penetration ability. the same issue would occur if they moved them to BR 2 … BR 1 makes sense as in BR 1 AT Rifles are able to deal with the tanks it faces … once you see BR 3 tanks at rifles just start not being able to penetrate the armor outside of nuisances such as breaking the tracks.
Personally, I think that semi auto at rifles should be BR 1 … and maybe re-add the ability to sprint with the action / single shot at rifles.

To be clear … I’m not arguing that an AT Rifle should:
have to one hit kill anything in its BR
penetrate the front of the tank in its BR
be effective at all ranges
or that the M1 has more drop than a rifle
What I am saying is the PTRS-41’s penetration capability is half that of the M1 bazooka and other BR II AT weapons. Im saying its closer to other at rifles which are all BR 1 currently. We already have a BR 1 semi auto in the Type 97. The PTRS 41 is over BR’d at BR II and is worse than the type 97 that is BR I… I then would like to see additional semi auto AT Rifles added for the other factions also in BR I with similar penetration values.
Is it possible to kill BR II and III tanks with all at rifles, sure, im not arguing its not. Im saying it is however very limited in position to the point that if you got into that position, you are often better to just throw an explosion pack due to falloff and already being at a 90 / near 90-degree flank anyway.
I suggested re-added the sprint ability to single shot / action at rifles (ie not semi auto ones) to increase mobility to the ones that can’t have a quick follow up shot.

All the AT rifles can be lumped to BR 1.
Everyone gets basic HEAT launchers starting at BR 2, making BR 2 AT rifles both unnecessary and strangely BR’ed.
