Soon i will unlock assaulter III squad in Normandy. I play with first assaulter squad and i have a qestion, is III assaulter worth to play or is waste of time?
It is worth to unlock the weapon upgrade tree.

Grind squad outside tier 2 is useful only if you want upgrade a weapon/veichle you fell need an upgrade outside that pure suffering, a hell of grind, a waste of time indeed
Yes. And you can use your soldiers from the Assaulter I squad to replace the soldiers the Assaulter III squad comes with as they (I expect) have the perks and equipment you like to use. Just makes grinding the unlocks easier.

assaulter 3 if you want to use 200% health perk and 75% healing speed, the 200% health perk is stacked with the 100% health perk meaning you can go from down to full health in 2 seconds

It’s a grind made for the elite.
Don’t bother now, they will maybe one day revamp the system. Tier III soldier are so expansive they become unreachable.
Add to this observation that only “usefull one” are:
- Flamethrower II
- Rifleman III
- Assault III
It’s a great bragging right enabler.
And what @Rickyd123 said. Do it for the perks if you are rich in bronze. Avoid if not.
