Artillery

I think it would be more exciting and it help to balance the game if the engineers could build the artillery and the artillery had a certain distance firing range. The engineer squad can fire the artillery at any time but they can only build one artillery piece. The only way the artillery squad can get precise coordinates is from a fellow team member that has a radio man otherwise the artillery piece is firing blindly towards the target.

If you want attillery with nerfed range, it’s no different from a mortar (except it’s a building so it’s acrually worse).

Well, it wouldn’t waste squad slot.

But I don’t think we need more of “throwing poopoos over the hill” features. It can get frustrating very quickly.

Engineers have anti-tank guns and communications troops at their disposal.
Why is artillery still needed?
