Seeing the rider class can only use Bike is kinda depressing, why not add Armored car into their arsenal?
Like Germany, SDKFZ 222 armored car, only armed with Mounted MG, because rider is all about scouting and flank and to make it fair they still use MG as main armament, No autocannon whatsoever or high caliber MG.
For the Allied they had M20 Utility car with LMG attached to it (NOT 50.CAL HMG)
For the Japanese. I cant find any open top armored car for japanese one, because they didnt produce any open top car. Maybe Type 92 osaka with “fictional” open top turret version will do for a while? (I cant find any pict)
Or any open top captured vehicle?
I love to hear about your opinion and suggestion. For me to make it fair for the infantry, the gunner would stick their head up or their upper torso for the infantry having a chance to fight back like this:

Armored vehicles are good, of course.
But performance and practical use must also be considered
Light vehicles without big bombs are like garbage in this game (refer to machine gun tanks and small caliber tanks)
I’d rather continue using paratroopers
The main Idea for Rider to have Armored car is to get them some protection againts small arms fire, not as a “tank”. I see no use of Bikes in certain maps, Its not even worth using bike. The addition of Armored car in rider squad is to also make rider squad worth using.
Nahh its too far, but sure if they got no armored car for Japan nation. The idea of rider is to flank enemy position on such a high speed for infantry support and not for head to head engagement.
And that is excactly what tankettes are for. The only difference is that these have tracks instead of wheels. They still can go fast and will be good for flanking
Yeah like the Carden-Lloyd Tankette is perfect, its semi armoured and has a machine gun but is also open topped and has a 2 man crew so like a Rider motorcycle but slightly better.
I wanted it to play like bike thats all, no annoying periscope and rectangle viewport. Just pure open view like finally breathing on huge open field after so many years trapped in enclosed room.
Reason why I choose armored car is because most of them are open top, they use wheels instead of track (I want to match or take principle with bike and bike use wheels instead of tracked, and I see in this game they are lack of Armored wheeled vehicle), They usually use 1 MG for main armament (same reason, I want to match it with bike).
Or easy understanding my rugged english “I want bike, but my driver is protected from small arm fire and not too exposed, and not so many countries develop armored bike why not use armored car?”. Thank you :3
I don’t understand this strange obsession with giving the Rider class armored cars- It won’t fix their inherent flaws. You’d just be spawning an inferior tank squad.
Tankers already have way too many vehicles. They got spaa, tank destroyers, light tanks, medium tanks and heavies. If these would be put in tanker 1 nobody would use them since even panzer 2 would be better. Having lightly armored infantry support vehicles in rider is the bets choice
