Hi. I have an idea that would be very nice for this game.
What about create Historical Armies who fought in concrete battles and for these Armies create historical correct divisions, etc…?
So we will have a chance to play for anyone Division who fought in concrete battle.
Yes, it need little bit more time for create this but by opinion it would be pretty nice a great.
Just like in War Thunder where we have tech trees for Air, Ground and Naval Forces.
But in Enlisted we will have tech trees for Armies.
And when we click on concrete Army so we will can chose historical Division, etc… who fought in this Army during this battle.
Update:
Premium
If will be Enlisted F2P would be really nice add to “Armies” (When they will be in the game I hope… :D) Premium stuff like Some Famous Divisions, Captured Vehicles like T-34 or KV for Axis or Panzers for USSR.
I assume your talking about a steel division style system in which certain divisions have access to certain squads and each division has a different set of available squads.
If that’s not what your referring to then I don’t know how that would be different from the current progression system
err, i don’t fulyl understand this post, but from what i can read, i disagree.
because you just would make more unused content.
i think that the developers as right now, they did a good job. because as far, they included each present and historical division that took part in the battle, and allows you to use different squad by your gameplay style.
so i don’t know why include other armies. i mean, not at point to be honest
Yes but they don’t have to it create to right now (In Alpha, Beta).
But in War Thunder we have also a lot simillar vehicles just with little bit different but they are in the game for people who like some version of vehicles for example…
So they can add content it Enlisted (Armies, Divisions, etc,…) gradually in the future with updates for example just like in War Thunder.
And People who like some Army from some Battle can play for their favorite Army, Division…
i thought about it, but than it wouldn’t be fun experience in my opinion.
i mean, the only nation that they will probably add due to content and size, might be american ( for sure ) commonwealth forces ( also those confirmed ) and the japanese. it’s not confirmed about japanese, but there’s a chance due to the pacific conflicts, and the possibility to also fight against british forces ( since, in real life conflict between each other happened ) since it’s a major faction that also made a lot in ww2.
but not like italy, poland, finland, china, where are " smaller " theatres.
We might see smaller countries later down the line just because of how campaigns work. Were probably getting Britain and Japan before Poland and Finland just because of how many theatres the former 2 fought in, making their assets more reusable. But if the devs ever ran out of big nations to add they could always just add a “Winter war” or “Invasion of Poland” campaign where that small nation only appears in that one campaign.
Each campaign has separate progression so the less duplicate equipment and classes you have to grind the better.
well, it’s not about being better or anything. but the budget for the company, the work dispatched between members and employers and what they can do at the end of the day.
in my opinion, it would be just a waste of time putting efforts in smaller faction due to the size of the team and gameplay reason. it’s not very helpfull for the company to make unused or smaller content for just a poor playerbase. i think it would be better if they keep sticking with the same idea of bigger fronts like they are doing at the moment.
moscow, D-Day, tunisia, berlin. and many others front may come. we’ll never know.
Adding tech trees is not that bad of an idea, I agree with some of it
But captured weapons and vehicles must never be added because it will make two teams look like they are in the mirror.
We already had captured Panzerschrecks in Berlin which I didnt like at all. It would be better if the other side gets a different captured weapon
For example:
Panzerfaust for soviets and Panzerschreck for Germans.
Or if we ever get Stalingrad or Kursk, we could see captured and modified T-34’s
Afaik they had them, as well as a bunch of vehicles and even some small arms in limited numbers (which they werent really fond of and were mostly used by the “instructors” of the lend lease vehicles)
